IOB clerical test center is changed in Andhra Pradesh. They decide to conduct exam in hyderabad also. Those who r having PIN code no starts with 500 to 518, they hav exam in Hyd others in Vijayawada.
i have a graduation degree other than arts with 64.64% marks (rounded to 65%). do i qualify to apply for this post ?? i m confused. pls guide me.
if i got 61% in post graduation then will i be eligible to appear in written test and i have done an mba (finance). is it perfect for this job
the minimum qualification asked is 55-60% for arts stream irrespective of acknowledging that in many colleges the percentage is determined by donations while in central university it is much difficult to get 50% marks ..also the IIM'S ask for 50% in graduation then what is the use of 60% criteria in P.O. EXAMS??

i am b.com(hons) withh 61.4% agg.my question is that ,arts graduates are special than the science n commerce why there is relaxation of 5% to arts grds? i think 60% marks are enough 4 eligibility criteria

Yes arts graduates are special than others becoz the subjects they study are so lengthy and low scoring but the relevance of the arts subjects cannot be overlooked keeping to run the social system of the country smoothly. Language subjects relates to arts stream, are so neccesary for rich literature of our country. On the other hand other streams like commerce, science, engg., medical etc. are formulae based and high scoring. Its the choice of a student of his interest to study in any stream.

if Bank has asked for min percentage in Graduation then it's final , No one can change it and as far as the post is concerned then it is not below the degree of management so it's quite fair that they asked for this much percentage .
And all graduates[science/eng./pharma/medical/comm/arts] are alowed to take an exams but you should be eligible by age & min. percentage .
And they won't aloowed 64.99%,if they asked for 65 . So don't waste your energy to apply in this .

IOB po results declared will be updated soon some ppl hav gt call ltrs as we;;
