IDBI Bank, a new generation fully computerised banking company having majority share holding by Government of India, invites application for following posts :
- Assistant Manager (AM) : 250 posts. Reservation as per Govt. rules., Age : 30 years as on 01/01/09. Relaxation in age as per Govt. rules, Qualification : Graduation (full time regular course) in any discipline from a recognized University. Additional qualification in a Bank, Financial services organisation etc. (Direct contractual experience with a Bank would be preferred)., Pay Scale : Rs.11250-22500.
Application Fee : Rs.300/- (Rs.75/- for SC/ST/PWD/ Ex-Serviceman) payable by Demand Draft (DD) / Pay Order (PO) only favouring IDBI Bank Ltd. and payable at Mumbai.
How to Apply : Apply Online. The print out of the system generated application along with the documents should be sent by Ordinary post only in a closed envelope superscribed as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF ASSISTANT MANAGER” at the designated address as provided in the detailed advertisement.

can anybody have an idea? when would they release the results?
...their service centre replied to me stating that the result would be out by last week of march '09. I believe march ends tomorrow. I don't see any reason for their delay. I also heard from my colleagues that the post ASSISTANT MANAGER is just for the name sake; while they would be ask to work like a sales executive...meanwhile I have been selected in SBI (PO)...also I got into a wonderful and exciting role in my present company...I don't know what to do...am just waiting for this IDBI result which never comes out!!!

one of my friend got selected today... in her interview she was asked nothing relevant to banking... something about local area where she resides, local politicians who may win the election and so on and so forth.. yeh one technical question which was asked for what one letter in computer language mean.. ans such stupid question. and finally she was asked r u looking out for Tellers profile or cashiers profile or marketing executive. .. So u can understand

on july 21 2009 I got an email..stating I have cleared test & Interview & have to go throgh the medical test..later it was denied saying that it was server problem..

Can anyone say about Tellers service executive and Payscale for that?
i have joined IDBI Bank as Asst Mgr (vacancy in Dec 2008,250 AM,Result in Sep 2009). Its a very good Organisation and we can get excell here in very short time COZ the bank is moving very fast,its a transition phase, so promotion chances is very hgih and i have seen here promoted from gr A to gr B just in 3 yr. salary is good,handsome,its hiked also,increment is more than any psu bank,aur kya chahiye,,ask if any help required to anybody,,its me sanjay,,id is sanjay_453@yahoo.com,,me from Patna,,God bless all student who are preparing hard,,best of luck.......SKR
ya idbi bank dont recruit any clerk so all post are filled by AM gr A (means PO). Role of AM may be offered as RO,RM,TSE,CSE only. ere RO/RM r responsible for making business from outside,,means sales and mktg profile,,so agar aap sales me jana chahte ho to jao,,TSE means teller service exe,,means teller service aap doge,no sales,,its good agar sales ka presure nahi lena hai to,, 10 to 5 kam karo;ghar jao,,CSE means customer service exe,,means teller and sales k other than all job,like cheque,PIN,debit card,statement,pass book,other request,lena dena,,pure service and Ops job,,,,QUITE GOOD post for them who want Ops career in bank, RO means relationship officer,,,,Na!! bole to Road Officer,,jo road pe milge,,,just kidding,,it depends person to person,,i like RO/RM profile,,log bahut kuch kehte hai,,kehne do,,sales job me presure hai,but challenge bhi to hai,,kuch karoge to pehchan hai,,time hai,,space hai,,u can manage ur role in every sphere,,,payscale is same yar,,it was 11250 to 22500,,now it is revised as 14400 start as basic,,gross wud be aprox 28000/ in metro,,kisi ko kuch kehna hai?? this is sanjay,,write me on sanjay_453@yahoo.co,,,,bye,,,rgds,,,SKR
