Recruitment of Clerks
- Qualification : A Graduate with 50% marks or a Post Graduate, from a recognized University with knowledge in Computer Operations.
- Age: For Graduates: 24 years and for Post Graduates 26 years as on Jun 30, 2008.
Relaxation for MBC / BC will be 2 years. Relaxation for SC / ST / Physically Handicapped will be 5 years. - Pay : Selected candidates will be on training period for six months and on probation for a further period for six months. During the training period they will be paid a stipend of Rs. 6000/-. On successful completion of training period they will be placed in the scale of pay as applicable to clerical cadre of the Bank.
- Procedure for selection: The candidates should appear for written examination.
- Fee : draft of Rs. 2o0/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ST) drawn in favour of "Tamilnad Mercantile Bank Ltd" payable at "THOOTHUKUDI" / "TUTICORIN" should be made with every application
Last Date for Online e-Application Filling is August 28, 2008: The last date for submission of hard copy of the application along with the enclosures and demand draft is 5 working days from the date of online e-application filling but not later than September 02, 2008.

TMB did not announce the results for the clerical recruitment 2008 in their website. But they recruited some people by recommendation. They cheated many students. They did not recruit properly. They conduct interview on Feb 24,25, in 2010 and they joined on march 2010. TMB is cheating the students

Tmb didnt pblish 2008 results in web but i got call letter for interview in feb 2010 ( d written exam was cndctd in 2008). i attended d interview but i was nt selected.i dnt knw how they select d people
