Punjab National Bank (PNB), a leading public sector bank invites application from Indian citizens for the following posts of Offocer cadre.

Posts & Vacancies:

1. Chief Manager (Information Technology) : 05 posts (SC: 01,OBC: 02,GEN: 02), SMG-IV Scale, Age : 40 years, Qualification: B.E or B.Tech in Computer Science / I.T / Electronics Or M.C.A, Experience: A minimum of 06 years out of which 04 years should have been as Sr. Manager in Scale III or equivalent in the, IT Department of any Bank.
2. Chief Manager : 03 posts, SMG-IV Scale , Age : 45 years, Qualification : MBA (Finance) or equivalent degree from reputed management institutes only / Graduation in Engineering / CA/ ICWA/ PG in Statistics, Mathematics or Economics /FRM or PRM /PG Diploma in Banking & Finance with Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least ‘A’ grade (i.e.8/10), Experience: Should be minimum in MMGS II with minimum 10 years of work experience in banking as officer and out of which 01 year in the risk Management Department of the Bank., Desirable: Knowledge of Statistical /simulation tools like SPSS ,Crystal Ball etc.
3. Senior Manager (Information Technology) : 16 posts (ST:-01,OBC:-09,GEN:-12 ), MMG-III Scale, Age : 40 years, Qualification : B.E Or B.Tech in Computer Science /I.T /Electronics Or M.C.A., Experience: A Minimum of 04 years as Manager in scale II or equivalent in the IT Department of any Bank.
4. Senior Manager : 06 posts , MMG-III Scale, Age : 40 years, Qualification : MBA (Finance) or equivalent degree from reputed management institutes only/ Graduation in engineering / CA/ ICWA/ PG in Statistics, Mathematics or Economics / PG Diploma in Banking & Finance with Cumulative Grade point average (CGPA) of at least ‘A’ grade (i.e.8/10 ) and CAIIB., Experience: A minimum 7 years in banking as officer and out of which 01 year in the Risk Management Department of the Bank., Desirable : Knowledge of statistical/ simulation tools like SPSS ,Crystal Ball etc.
5. Astt General Manager (Information Technology) : 02 posts, SMG-V, Age : 45 years, Qualification : B.E OR B.Tech in Computer Science /IT/ Electronics/Telecommunication or M.C.A, Experience : A minimum of 08 years out of which 02 years should have been as chief Manager in Scale IV or equivalent in the IT Department of any Bank.
6. Astt General Manager : 02 posts, SMG-V, Age : 52 years, Qualification : MBA (Finance) or equivalent degree from reputed management institutes only/ Graduation in engineering/ CA/ ICWA/ PG in Statistics, Mathematics or Economics/ FRM or PRM., Experience : MBA (Finance) or equivalent degree from reputed management institutes only/ Graduation in engineering/ CA/ ICWA/ PG in Statistics, Mathematics or Economics/ FRM or PRM.

Relaxation in Age : SC/ST- 5 years, OBC-3 years, Kashmir migrant -5 years, PH - 10 years and officers from rural bank-5 years. Age is calculated as on 01/07/2007.

Application Fee : For all categories including OBC/ Dependents of servicemen killed in action, the
application fee is Rs 250/- + Rs 50/- Postage Charges = Rs 300/-. For candidate belonging to SC/ST/PC/Ex-servicemen categories, there is no application fee except postage charges of Rs 50/-. Application fee including postage should be paid by a single Demand Draft/ Bank Pay order issued by a Scheduled Commercial Bank for each post separately to be drawn as under: “PNB RECRUITMENT ACCOUNT - SOP - IT, RM”, payable at Delhi. The candidate must write his/ her name and address on the reverse of the Bank Draft/ Bank Pay order.

For the candidates staying abroad and for those posting application from Andaman & Nicobar Island, Lakshadweep, Assam, Meghalaya Arunchal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of J &K State, Lahaual and Spiti district and Pangi Sub Division of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh , the last date for recipt of applications will be 16/10/2007.
